چکیده
Abstract Background Neuropsychiatric manifestations occur in up to 75% of adult systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients and are one the major causes death SLE patients. Cognitive dysfunction is a typical clinical feature neuropsychiatric (NPSLE), which seriously affects quality life Dyslipidaemia thyroid symptoms, prevalent patients, have both been related disturbances, including significant psychiatric cognitive disturbances. This study aimed investigate whether with was expression serum hormone lipoprotein levels. Methods A total 121 65 healthy controls (HCs) at Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital completed function test, 81 were divided into high-cognition ( n = 33) group low-cognition 48). The laboratory characteristics compared; moreover, correlations between HDL-C, LDL-C, F-T3 F-T4 levels analysed. Serum APOE, APOA1, IGF-1, IGFBP7 detected by ELISA, correlation these four proteins cognition analysed separately. Results abnormal less educated than HCs. For albumin, P < 0.05) decreased, while D-dimer, anti-dsDNA antibody, IgM increased. positively correlated cognition. Furthermore, protein APOE APOA1 showed no difference high- groups. However, negatively line orientation scores, coding scores. Conclusions indexes (language exception), figure copy These results demonstrated that might be biomarkers SLE.

Cognitive dysfunction in patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
OBJECTIVE To determine the extent to which cognitive dysfunction (CD) observed in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) exceeds that seen in a matched control group of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and to estimate the prevalence of CD in SLE in a community-based sample. METHODS A random subsample of 31 patients with SLE was compared to patients with RA matched by age, se...
